About Kharris B.
I moved to Maine from Utah in 1989 and lived on Peaks Island for seven years. I also attended a year at Portland School Of Art. Since 2008 I have been living in Bath with my husband and biggest supporter, Ken.
Most of my work is self-educated, learning new tools and techniques as I go. Working out of my home studio, I make stained glass, batik, found object collages, pencil sketches, furniture, and other unique and creative “oddities.” I try to repurpose found objects and salvage for anything I can!

“The true use of art is, first, to cultivate the artist’s own spiritual nature.” – George Inness
